Digital Product License Policy

This Digital Product License Policy governs the purchase and use of digital crochet patterns, downloadable files, and other digital products sold by TropiCrochet LLC (“TropiCrochet”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By purchasing or downloading any digital product from our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Personal License for Use

All digital crochet patterns and downloadable content sold by TropiCrochet are provided for personal use only unless otherwise stated.

When you purchase a digital product, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the pattern for your own personal crafting.

Purchasing a pattern does not transfer ownership of the design or intellectual property.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All crochet patterns, designs, written instructions, photographs, illustrations, and associated materials are the intellectual property of TropiCrochet LLC and are protected under United States and international copyright laws.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Written crochet pattern instructions

  • Character designs

  • Folklore-inspired figures

  • Product names and storytelling descriptions

  • Photographs and graphics

  • Layout and presentation of the pattern files

No part of any digital product may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or republished without prior written permission from TropiCrochet LLC.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Share, distribute, or give away the pattern file in any format

  • Upload the pattern to file-sharing sites or online libraries

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the pattern

  • Translate the pattern and distribute the translation

  • Claim the pattern or design as your own

  • Copy significant portions of the instructions or images for redistribution

  • Use the pattern to create derivative crochet patterns for resale

Digital products are licensed to one purchaser only.

4. Selling Finished Items

You may sell a limited number of finished handmade items created using TropiCrochet patterns, provided that:

  • Items are handmade by you in small quantities

  • The original design credit is given to TropiCrochet in product descriptions or listings when possible

  • The items are not mass-produced or manufactured by third parties

Mass production, factory production, or wholesale manufacturing of items created from TropiCrochet patterns is not permitted without written licensing permission.

5. Character and Design Protection

Many TropiCrochet designs feature original folklore-inspired characters, artistic concepts, and cultural storytelling elements.

These character designs, artistic interpretations, and storytelling elements remain the exclusive intellectual property of TropiCrochet LLC and may not be reproduced, adapted, or commercially exploited beyond the scope permitted in this license.

6. Digital Product Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically through downloadable files after purchase.

Due to the nature of digital content, all digital product sales are final and non-refundable once the file has been downloaded or accessed, except where required by law.

7. License Termination

This license is automatically terminated if you violate any terms outlined in this policy.

Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the digital product and delete any copies in your possession.

8. Copyright Enforcement

Unauthorized distribution, reproduction, or resale of TropiCrochet digital products constitutes copyright infringement.

TropiCrochet LLC reserves the right to pursue enforcement actions where necessary, including:

  • DMCA takedown notices

  • Removal requests to hosting platforms or marketplaces

  • Legal remedies available under copyright law

TropiCrochet LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Digital Product License Policy at any time.

Continued use of digital products after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
